Great breakfast

Used to love It when it was Our House Cafe (different management) years ago. Most of the staff is unfriendly, food is mediocre, and coffee is wrong every time. I pay extra for almond milk and somehow end up with whole milk almost every time. I keep trying to give it a chance and am highly disappointed every time.

I just ate what may be the best BBQ sandwich with coleslaw in my entire life! No kidding. Off-the-charts good!

The people were great the coffee was yummy. But the food not very good. We were excited to try a new place and we weee disappointed. Can’t way we would go back.

I’m not sure what has happened to this business. My past experiences at Caffe on the Abbey were never this disappointing. I decided to give them another shot this morning. I ordered carry out a few weeks ago and had horrible luck. Spent over $30 on food that was not cooked or seasoned properly. Today I ordered sausage, pancakes, American fries and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was very sweet. The sausage was not cooked. And I wish I had taken a picture before I cooked it myself. Feeding customers raw food especially pregnant customers is a huge no-no. It was so flimsy when I picked it up my finger put a knick in it. My pancakes crumbled when I tried to cut them. The American fries appeared to be microwaved? I’m not sure. But they were hard and had no flavor. All due respect I don’t know if you’re cook is laid off because of this virus but he is most definitely essential for your business. I wish you guys never left your old building. I will not be returning.

The food was super fresh...a little place but worth the wait

You can eat inside or out. They have a nice selection for breakfast and lunch. The baked goods are wonderful. I believe they close at 2 in the afternoon?

I love this place. I love that you get to pick a cup of your choice and sample the variety of coffees they have available. Also had biscuits and gravy...very tasty.

We just moved to Columbia and have been here four times now. Yet to have a bad experience. The lattes are really good and so is the food. We really appreciate the rotating monthly menu with specialty items. The patio is also great when the weather is good.

amazing food and a smaller menu, but the things on it are amazing every single time. my wife and I go here all the time, fast service as well for a sit down restaurant

Always love coming here for a good breakfast or lunch. The coffee drinks are always delicious too and the desserts are to die for! You can go in and just get something to go too. Small town charm at it's finest

Delicious! They have a seasonal menu. I tried the Stumpy's Sweet Potato Skillet. Need to return to try the pumpkin pancakes.

Could definitely use some more space and I wouldnt suggest it for parties bigger than 6, but really its size is part of the charm. Loved the chicken and pumpkin waffle! My friends really like the bloody marys and I enjoyed the coffee. Overall it was great!Edit: Thank you to the owner comment that the cafe is expanding this summer!

I will say the place was busy with a band outside. I got breakfast food to go I asked for my bacon to be crispy and it was fatty and under cooked. I will give the place a chance again because it is a local restaurant here in my town I do not let the 1st time rune the last time, and only time.

What a cute place in a small town with great service and Amazing food.

We have had a pleasant experience at the Abbey for breakfast, lunch and a quick coffee. First time we have had a Frozen Hot Chocolate that tasted like hot chocolate. Keep up the great work.

I’m here eating right now as we speak and this French toast literally reminds me of my Grandmas French toast. Will continue to eat here in the future. Very homey and kind staff, not to mention quick service

Food was good, drinks also, service... We were forgotten from the moment we walked in. Had to flag down the server multiple times to get our order taken, a forgotten drink, our food and the check. Disappointing first visit, not in a hurry to return.

I had an omelet(bacon,spinach,mushrooms and cheese) with toast. It was very good and the staff are very nice. Will definitely be returning.
